We are here on holiday. There has been nothing like that arranged that I'm aware of. I think the town is a bit bewildered by it all.

Local update: There are a lot of police in town now. Just saw around 15 in uniform checking in at the motel...police four wheel drives and mini bus and the big diver/search van are here too.

The police chopper is out and about again down here today. Doing large sweeps of the area.

The command post has lots of vehicles there this morning so it looks like they have begun again

Just did a little drive through town. It's very quiet. A few SES vehicles at the command post but no police vehicles and no active searching that I could see. There was an SES vehicle that went through town at about 4pm with lights and sirens but other than that nothing. It's still very light...

It's all gone quiet.

No helicopters or other search/police vehicles spotted since I last posted

the chopper seems to have gone. Has not landed again after the last take off....may have gone back to Melbourne

The chopper has taken off and landed 3 times in last hour or so. Heard sirens along Great Ocean Road too. There feels like something happening....

I think the only way would be to run on the road itself or go inland.

Im down here on our regular holiday with family this week. We saw helicopter searching for her on Sunday night. There are lots of police and SES around town searching. There are lots of places you could fall or get lost. It's been a long time now 😢 Let me know if you have questions...
