Yes...that's what I meant. For that matter....do we know if she is a JW also? Or did she marry into it?

It doesn't matter....we're just trying to figure out why he didn't just divorce instead of all this. I don't think he figured it would end up like this. I do not believe he woke that morning and decide that he kill her. I think he thought he would have his way with her, but I don't think he...

His wife can't do it I'm sure. And although he was a sometime "attendee", it doesn't mean that some of those teachings didn't stay with him. Then too, maybe he's hoping his bretheran can help him in some way.

I'm still just wondering why he chose Larch Mountain. For one thing...Larch Mountain has always had a reputation for crime and the disposal of bodies. It goes decades back...but recently a woman's body was found up there in '96...a male body was found in '99 and again in 2006, a young missing...

Just heard on KATU that a crime investigator with LE says that he strongly feels JH lost control after he murdered her and was so rattled he couldn't figure out what to do. I don't know....seems like a pretty pat answer to what we're all wondering. He also said that JH will plead 'guilty' and...

Well...Roslyn Lake hasn't been a lake since 2008 when PGE decided to drain it out. I suppose they could have met there during a church camp-out or something...she would have been 17 at the time. You could camp and picnic there.

In the state of Oregon we have to have both a front and rear plate on our cars. You will get pulled over if not. I did and I had to show the officer i had one (was in the back seat) but the frame had cracked and it was hanging by a thread. I batted my eyelashes and he just pointed his finger...

Actually it's not that much travelled...except at that time of morning. Like most cities, the suburbs encroach more into the surrounding area. This is a really, heavily wooded, forested area, and small farms and ranches are dotted in those wooded plots. It's a twisty stretch (I use it...

i have a cousin who was born with FAS. JH doesn't have it. There are various degrees of the anomaly, however, people with it all show certain facial flaws, fingers are different then in normal children, heart defects of various kinds...JH doesn't have FAS. I'll swear to that. If you ever saw...

That's what I was thinking too....I live just off of 242nd, and traffic that time of day is just awful. I'm wondering also...why did he go to the Troutdale apartments? If he just wanted to ditch her cellphone, why didn't he do it when he was at the T/A Truck Plaza in down in Troutdale??? Lots...

I think they might figure that abuse of a corpse would be the act of disposing the body in a manner not befitting someone...in other words, dumping in a wooded area would be "abusing" the corpse.

So...I always thought that it was found at WalMart in Wood Village...but KATU reports it wasn't...: "One of Whitney’s friends was the first person to find her Ford Explorer at a Shell gas station in Troutdale in the afternoon of the day she disappeared."
