I know, I was making a joke. The official reason truly is that it can be seen as prejudicial or inflammatory to a judge or jury (depending on trial circumstances) and that it can impede a Defendant's right to a fair trial.
The official reason would probably be something along the lines of it being prejudicial, but the Sweetgrass version is that they can dish it out but can't take it. ;)
