Ah, figured it out.
Yeah, I know that, but the one's they showed on the news belonged to a cop. That's what I'm saying. I literally know exactly who they belong to. The cameras just zoomed in on random footprints.
Um, yeah, I realize they said there were footprints, I'M saying the ones they showed on the news weren't the ones from the truck driver. They showed footage of a cop's footprints. I'm on my phone so I am having trouble quoting people, but yeah.
I think if ML had anything to do with it, his story wouldn't have changed at all. It'd be well-rehearsed by now. I have a hard time remembering exactly what happened at any given time, especially if I've been drinking and/or smoking. If he was lying, he'd have a perfect story, wouldn't he?
I haven't posted in a while but I've still been following the thread. I just wanted to say that as far as the confusion about the footprints they showed on the news... They were NOT
Aly's or whoever was driving the truck, they were from a cop who first found the truck after it got...
I don't think we can really trust anything the media has said because they were just trying to put out an interesting story. There was so much conflicting nonsense. The footprints at the truck? How do they even know if they belonged to the person driving the truck? There were probably footprints...
I'm procrastinating doing my homework, so I'm just gonna throw out some possibilities and ideas, most of which have already been discussed here, but I can't seem to get poor AY out of my mind.
1. Maybe her "friends" in Yuba City either accidentally or intentionally harmed her and one of them...
I'm having trouble replying with quotes for some reason.... :( But Mahouston69, her phone had to be on for it to ping like it did at 4:33am that morning, right? And if she is always on her phone, as most people are these days, she would have had a charger with her or in her car, like most people...
I don't think that she would be going there to meet friends at 11pm on a work night. She was described as being very responsible and never missing work. I just don't see her doing that, especially not driving onto the levee and into that random orchard, but I don't know for sure. It's all super...
I do wonder how they know for sure. I mean, who is this person and why did they send those texts? How did they have Aly's mom's cell phone number? Either way, I hope that the person (or people) behind those texts get what they deserve.
Any way you look at the map, there is absolutely no reason to go to Cooley rd or Pennington even if she was taking back roads. It's way out of the way. And as someone has mentioned before, if she took back roads often, she would have known where she was going and wouldn't have likely gotten...
Hmm, yeah, I read that, too... That seemed weird to me. I heard that that area is notorious for people trespassing and sneaking around, so I guess it's not completely crazy for there to be people walking around out there. So if they turned the phone on, did that mean it had been turned off and...
That's great information! It makes it even more confusing that her phone pinged to Yuba City, though... Is it possible that her phone was updating and shut off automatically around the time she was in Yuba City and then turned itself back on when it was out of cell range? Or maybe she was...
Feel free to correct me where I'm wrong, but just from what I've read from multiple sources, it seems like the story goes something like this: Aly and her ex boyfriend talked on Wednesday night about getting back together. The ex boyfriend has said she poured her feelings out to him. Aly met...
They gave absolutely no new information. They wouldn't even answer whether or not they thought Aly was driving the truck that night. That's what I found to be the most suspicious. At least they said they remain hopeful that they will find her. To me that seems to point to someone else's...
