I met her in late 1982 and knew her through late 1983. We went to the same school after high school. I knew her only as Hokanson then and don't recall her ever saying anything about a name change.
It's possible she left on her own. However, it's also possible that the person who did something to her left her vehicle there to make it appear she left on her own.
