SIL did not even pick up MIL for dinner at his house, 4 miles from NG's house. That is just strange and sad to me to make NG take Uber...

If she was taken by people whom she knew closely, she's alive in my opinion. If it was strangers, not likely.

Dog in Christmas pj photo appears to be SG's dog, Fetch. NG had limited mobility, lives in pain, and health condition, so probably not... -
