It really leaves no doubt now that he was the killer. Breaks my heart that the 13 year old scratched him fighting for her life and is the one who solved the case in the end.

Yes it did. Innocent men could have become suspects for a crime that never happened.

Makes me wonder of he had been in some kind of trouble with the police before this.

That's when I suspected a hoax. He's supposed to have been shot and scared for his life but wastes time calling mom and giving details when calling 911 and getting them faster to save his life would be the obvious thing to do.

And IF he made this story up he should be charged IMO.
