VA VA- Unidentified 12-year-old abducted in Spotsylvania, 4 July 2013

Just wanted to let you guys know, my mom talked to my aunt and everybody is fine! Thanks for caring. I know it's hard to say that in text without sounding sarcastic, but I genuinely mean it. Anyway, sorry for derailing the thread with all this!

VA VA- Unidentified 12-year-old abducted in Spotsylvania, 4 July 2013

Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to get back here, it's been a crazy day. So it looks like the boy is most likely not him. I found out earlier that since the separation they've been living in another town over an hour away. We contacted LE in the area they are living in now just to have...

VA VA- Unidentified 12-year-old abducted in Spotsylvania, 4 July 2013

Thanks for editing your reply, carbuff. I'm probably being paranoid by deleting my post but I figure it's best to be cautious since at this point I have no idea what's happened or what's going to happen. My work schedule has been crazy lately and I have to leave in a couple minutes but I'll try...

Thanks for the concern, everyone. My aunt still hasn't responded...time to report this. Edit: I deleted my above post just to be on the safe side. I'm not sure how much info I should put out there.

I don't know how much I should say right now but it's looking like there's a chance I know who this kid is.

    Deceased/Not Found KY - Andrew Compton, 18, Sullivan U student, 28 Oct 2010 *G. O'Bryan guilty*

Just had to quote this again because it's so true, and I completely agree. I haven't posted in quite awhile, but this case especially is getting to me because I'm a local and went to Sullivan, and now work in this area. I completely agree that sexual orientation has nothing to do with it, and...

Mystery couple murdered in South Carolina, 1976 - #6

Thanks for the info! I'm not gonna have much free time for awhile, so if someone else wants to get things started, feel free. If not I'll do it myself once things slow down, but I have no idea when that'll be.

Yeah, the hair I wasn't too worried about, because I know it can change. My brother's hair was white-blond as a small child, but gradually darkened as he got older, and now as an adult it's almost black. And I was born with black hair that lightened to a dark blond, then turned dark brown, and...

Yeah, that's bugging me, too. I think he just looks SO similar otherwise.

Mystery couple murdered in South Carolina, 1976 - #6

I've been busy with work lately, so I haven't posted in a long time, but last night I was looking at updates on the Doe Network site, and came across this. I know it's a super long shot since the height, hair and eye color are off, but Doe Network's made mistakes in the past, and I think he...

Yeah, there's a chance they could've gotten the height wrong. I did. I wasn't seeing much similarity before I really took a good look at the AMP pic, but they look a lot more alike when you look at that one.

Here is the Doe Network page for Edward Arcand. I came across him in my original search, but discounted him because he's four inches shorter than the John Doe. I suppose there could've been a mistake, though, and the height listed is wrong. For some reason I can't see the pics that Jane...

I don't think the moles should be the deciding factor, though. Like I said before, I think people are making too much of them. In some of the pictures they're barely noticeable, and in others it seems like they've darkened them. Like this for example. If you look at the picture on the right...
