I watched a youtube video about this from July 2020 and it said the final word on cause of death/manner of death was to be released by the end of the year. Are there any updates on that? I haven't been able to find anything and her name is SO common, it's hard to search.
This whole situation is bonkers and the behavior of everyone from top to bottom is unacceptable. I fully support a lawsuit in this case, from the manufacturer of the van all the way to the city councilman who was being a complete jerk about the family. Gross behavior everywhere.
I would imagine it's not so uncommon for a violent attacker to suggest he only wants money to keep his victims from freaking out and panicking. Who knows.
