I watched a youtube video about this from July 2020 and it said the final word on cause of death/manner of death was to be released by the end of the year. Are there any updates on that? I haven't been able to find anything and her name is SO common, it's hard to search.

This whole situation is bonkers and the behavior of everyone from top to bottom is unacceptable. I fully support a lawsuit in this case, from the manufacturer of the van all the way to the city councilman who was being a complete jerk about the family. Gross behavior everywhere.

I would imagine it's not so uncommon for a violent attacker to suggest he only wants money to keep his victims from freaking out and panicking. Who knows.

The neighbors may have felt that way, but the first few couples he attacked, he referred to the man as the husband, so he didn't seem to be aware that they were unmarried at first.

What would the truth be that we can't handle? Admittedly, I haven't followed very closely, so I understand if y'all don't want to reiterate it!

They may not be able to charge him for those rapes, but those victims can identify him further with that evidence, I'd imagine.
