Ooops, linked wrong article. Identified in another one, let me find it again.
Here's the one that names her:

Still want to know whose flip flops were by the front door, LVD or Tylee's... and wonder if shoes belonging to one of them were missing from the home (and discarded elsewhere).
We're not going to find out, but that doesn't mean I don't wonder what evidence might have been discarded during that...
So she bought TWO pairs of flip flops at Walgreens?
One to wear... and where did the other pair go? Still in the car? Or were they for Tylee?
And there was only the one pair inside the house by the door.
Did they both run out of the house without shoes?
Or was that maybe concocted so she...
I can only see two real possibilities here.
One, he left intentionally.
Two, someone jacked his car, likely before he ever crossed over into Oregon.
I'd like to be wrong and he be safe somewhere.
Oh, and a note... location-name-wise, the whole area on top of cliff would also be considered Underwood. Pretty much nobody calls it Underwood Heights.
But the info specifies "along highway 14".
I'm curious where exactly he said he dropped her off, or where the friends were... because locals...
Um. Does anyone have ANY more details about this? Like where they were supposedly fishing? Or where exactly she was dropped off?
I mean... the in-lieu site is right there at the base of Cook-Underwood Rd, but she's listed as (and appears) Asian-American, not Native.
Or were they supposed to...
It isn't in the Hood River, it's in the Columbia near Cascade Locks.
The Columbia is cold.
The car is in a very deep part, and they think it may have moved enough over the years to fall in there, not been there originally.
This KOIN article quotes the diver as saying that the tailgate was...
I didn't mention the trees and brush because I have no idea if they were there 60+ years ago. It was after Bonneville and the railroad were built, so the land structures should be the same, but no guess on the hillside vegetation.
(And "Hi!" sorta neighbor! I almost moved to Stevenson/North...
Today's photos and videos seem to show them working in an area west of the island, near the bridge. (The Jeff Gianola videos I linked to are looking west from the park, so basically back toward the old lock canal from this Google maps link that has a fantastic birds eye view of this area...)
I...
I'm not sure about the son, but I'm convinced about the car thieves. Looks to be exactly the same location from what I can tell.
Two options, really: son had something to do with it and knew them from somewhere and they had the gun, or the dad had gun his son had stolen.
That gun is too big a...
Omg, I always thought they were at Cascade Locks and not The Dalles... I wonder if they'll be able to determine if the car went off at the spot that's been talked about!
(This case is now the main topic in the Gorge, lol. I'm at work today, so learned about the development from our family chat.)
