Thanks for all that, Boondocksaint. I appreciate your taking the time along with everyone else responding.
I’ve read some of FBI books, but I wasn’t interested in Corll at the time so I’ll revisit them.
I finished Clown/Candy last night. Shaking my head at 1. The repeated releases of Norman...
Boondocksaint,
ohhh ok, I didn’t know about the manhunt. She still commented on his increased drinking. What do you think that was all about?
I’m still suspicious of his Brooks comment. Didn’t Brooks have a child by then? Fatherhood could’ve created a vein of empathy as a parent regarding all...
Was he using these other young men at the same time as Brooks/Henley were involved, or was that earlier? I’m trying to sift through all my brain cells and coming up blank, lol.
Yes, thank goodness he didn’t succeed in relocating. Yikes. I hate that he died a quick death. I’d have preferred a...
I’ve considered he may have been panicking for other reasons. Israel Keyes went through a similiar change in his last days, and I agree Corll was losing control. Good point about an alcoholic and change of scenery. I still find it odd he specifically said to keep Brooks out of the loop. I’ve...
I just finished The Man With Candy. In the last few weeks of his life Corll was definitely afraid of someone. He told numerous people he was leaving and that he was dodging someone. According to his “girlfriend” Betty he was also uncharacteristically drinking a lot and very distracted. What I...
Fred&edna, I’m with you. Dateline is notorious for leaving out info, so I thought my confusion about the dog tags and Pam’s phone was due to that. I’m also interested in whether the dog tags had his legal name on them. He said in the interview they had “Kit” as his name.
Does anyone here know...
I don’t really lean towards him contacting LE, but that could be what The Shack reference was about.
I personally think The Shack reference was far more personal for the killer, but who knows!
I would think very little of him in the video if I didn’t know what he’d done. I’d probably be slightly suspicious of his hands and his clothing. My husband has cold hands, so I’d probably conclude his hands were chilled. His clothing I’d find out of the ordinary for a stroll in the park. He...
Well, the day is not over and I know I’m being irrational, but I sure was hoping to pop in here and see a ton of activity due to an arrest. I wonder if there are any family interviews scheduled.
I agree. I’ve said it before....based on some of the walls of text, some of it punctuation free, I’ve seen online the tip line people don’t get paid enough. Those dealing with stupid need hazard pay.
If the car parked at the abandoned building is the killer’s I wonder why he’d park out in the open like that knowing he could park more privately near the trail.
