Not sure if this idea would work in practice or only just in theory, To help with the search of the creek would it be possible to use sand bags to plug the mouth of the creek where the water runs in from the reservoir. Leave it plugged for maybe an hour to give searchers time to look though...

I'm probably thinking too far outside the box, but does anyone know anything about blood doping that athletes used to practice? Would LE be able to distinguish fresh blood from blood that had been refrigerated? Just thinking that might be one way to discover a large amount of blood even though...

Is it possible someone coming through the house during the estate sale could have unlocked a window? I make sure my front, back, and garage doors are locked before going to bed, but I don't check to make sure all the windows are locked.
