I never knew she moved to ABQ to get away from addiction, which was one of the worst times to be a recovering addict in Albuquerque. 2006 was a rough time to live in ABQ in general and I remember drug problems were big even with high school students that were getting ahold of heroin and oding...
"For the past few weeks, Mark and Sierra have gone through Melissa’s documents and discovered that she may have been experiencing pressures that they didn’t know about. “Through our own research — she was going through a huge, huge, huge amount of stress,” Sierra told Dateline. “There is a lot...
I've been keeping an eye on this one since the week of. People were side eyeing the husband because he was seemingly quiet while everyone else was posting daily about Melissa. He eventually came out and explained his phone was being cleared by law enforcement and that's why he was silent.
I...
I just discovered this case due to a page on Facebook reposting her poster. I live in Las Cruces for 13 years and Picacho avenue is sketchy now and according to locals around the time she went missing it was starting to get rough. So I think it's possible that someone just saw the opportunity...
going through this thread as a guest, haven't logged into this site in years, but i do have knowledge on this subject
i live by I-10 in Las Cruces, NM, probably 10-15 miles west there is a checkpoint, i frequently travel through the southwest and have been through here about 20x in the past 2...
I also think the brothers aren't involved with it, the only thing that made me kind of suspicious is that one statement that one of them made when they were looking for Amanda. I guess that was just a coincidence.

“I’m not saying Michelle is legally incompetent. That’s baloney. But nothing she says is reliable. Anyone that damaged doesn’t have a handle on what they need,” Milano said.
Except she hasn't said anything yet? The only thing we have heard from her is that one...

"A missing persons report was filed by the family, but apparently she was dismissed as a runaway by authorities and the case wasn't given much attention. After 15 months, she was removed from the FBI's database of missing people because police could not reach her mother to confirm she was still...
I'm still wondering why AC's daughter said in that GMA interview that there wasn't any violence in the household when her mother was physically abused.. IDK why she would lie about that.

I think there was an article a few days back that she was assaulted at school which resulted with the pregnancy. Didn't know it was that bad though. :(
"each of the women were given a cake to celebrate their respective 'abduction days' in a sickening ritual that replaced their birthdays."
Just when you think the sicko couldn't get any worse..
This case has really fascinated me. I actually didn't know it occurred until I moved out of ABQ to Southern NM.
And it looks like we won't be getting any new leads anytime soon :(
