Exactly what I saw. Looks like he put up his hand to signal the women to stop and asked them for a cigarette or change. The woman awkwardly high-fives him with her phone in her hand while her friend looks back at her to see how she'll react. Definitely doesn't look like they know dreads guy.

In the Sal's video you can clearly see Hannah looking back at 0:45, like the group of guys was catcalling her. It's just before she passes the tree in the middle of the frame. Possibly dreadlocks guy calling from across the courtyard. Either way...
Wow. After watching this full screen and frame by frame I'm certain she's walking with dreadlocks guy. Same outfit he had on before, same ponchy stomach. That is definitely not a reflection.
Those remains are far away from where she was last seen: 2 hours by car, 22 hours walking, so they are probably not related to this case.
The question I have and haven't seen answered anywhere is: when did the construction crew arrive? This would seem to provide the answer to the key...
