Been a while since I've even logged in here, but dropped by today to see if these new 'suspect(s)' developments were being discussed (knowing full well that the clever people here would be all over it), as carefully as possible hopefully, to avoid prejudicing any court proceedings, prosecutions...
First time I've seen that - have only been following in passing recently - but that's pretty infuriating. Why the hell would you not speak up sooner, with all the fuss in the news - kid's missing, and possibly abducted (sure that possibility was mentioned in the 'months' after what happened...
What Cadaver Dogs Are Sniffing for When They Look for a Body | Inverse
Keeping in mind though, as I edited my post above to clarify, cadaver dogs were only part of much later, follow-up searches. Initially sniffer dogs were involved, as obviously nobody was seriously thinking of finding a body...
... and I'm not sure the timeline works either, considering how little time he was out of their sight (though of course recollection can be mistaken), allegedly between 1 and 5 minutes (reference).
The sniffer dogs lost the scent at the edge of the property (ref.), so had he crossed roads or...
Sounds like he's just confirming they have reason, whilst refusing to indicate (either way) what kind of reason. To be expected, but goodness I hope this finally breaks the case.
Remember too they called in police scent dogs, with olfactory capabilities orders of magnitude greater than ours. The scent was lost at the bottom of the driveway.

I think they've ruled it out as much as they possibly could, what with repeated extensive searches, and I remember in the early days of the searches we were all a bit surprised to hear when they brought in 'child movement experts' (that's a thing??) to confirm exactly how far a child could've...
Um, wow.

Lots of info I didn't know here, and whilst one-sided obviously, still a very interesting read.
Someone can't count... "William was just three years old when he vanished from his grandmother's backyard in Kendall, NSW, on September 12, 2014. He would be seven years old now"
Yep I'd agree with that, and with katydid23's assessment above this post.
Any time something is stated based on a person's interpretation it becomes problematic (and often inadmissable). Like a Rorschach test; it requires an examiner to interpret the subject's interpretation... but who...
I remember (pretty sure it was) GJ saying immediate and extended family (which I took to include foster, directed at people who knew that info) had been cleared.
Again you could say 'how far does that extend', but it's even more surprising then that they could be cleared so quickly (though I...
In addition to Makara's response a few posts down from yours, I remember an MSM article stating that just because the sex crimes squad are involved, doesn't mean a sex crime has occurred or is even believed to have occurred, and the same was being said of the homicide squad's involvement; it's...
Sorry if this has already been covered, but is there some reason to think the photos are from the same day?? The bottom photo was taken on the day of his disappearance, but the top photo was on the pinboard in the police task force room, probably just as a reference, and as far as I knew there...

:-(
How hard for those paramedics, likely nothing they can do, and to now see what's happened...
Devil's advocate... maybe someone (no names or...
