I'm so glad the Sea Shepherd is being aggressive. They're doing a great job. I can't understand wanting to just slaughter the whales. Making them live with that stinky butyric acid for a couple of days is perfect! It really made me smile to see the ship was named the "Steve Irwin" :) .

The Irwin family's statue in the park sounds beautiful, but a little sad with Steve being behind the others with his dog. I'd like to see a picture of it. I tried google images but no luck yet. I'm so glad so many people from all over the world are still honoring Steve and his work:)

I think I understand what Beth means. I've known a couple of people who were extremely detail oriented, and were still loving toward their family, so they would want to preserve an asset for their family if they could. That said, it seems to me so far that the father is on the right track.
