My friends husband passed away after being in persistent vegitive state for six months. Sadly he my experience is that they can advise you not to view the body, however I don’t think they are able to stop you if you choose to.

I was called for jury service whilst pregnant with twins, I was able to defer for two years. I had to provide medical backup, and I was told if I was only having one baby then I would not be able to defer and would be expected to attend.
