Edit - Ranch is way quicker than I am tonight. :(
With all respect towards the dead, hair and nails grow for a short time after death AFAIK. Is it common for funeral directors/embalmers/morticians to trim fingernails?
{MOO}I still fail to see how the FD missed something that was so obvious to the medical examiner on the outside of the body...
But, but, but, that was when the funeral director said so! Now that is comes out that he actually *did* have injuries, they are surely defensive wounds. Right? /sarcasm
I guess that TM was on top of George trying to tickle him to death and not punching him causing his head to repeatedly hit the concrete. Possible? Sure. Probably, nope. {MOO}

I said in an earlier post that the funeral director either misspoke or lied when he talked to the media. After finding the CBS Miami story, I will go on record that in my opinion he outright lied. They would have printed Trayvon at the morgue during the autopsy. The funeral director would have...
Again, since this is the "witness accounts" thread, the witness(es) who saw TM on top of GZ, not to mention the medial accounting for the two cuts and other scratches on the back of his head. And the picture taken on scene of the bloody back of his head.

They call it "ground and pound" in UFC fighting, where one person, even if they are lighter, uses the leverage of being...
So Trayvon had no defensive wounds, no black eye's, nothing except the cuts on his hand and the hole in his chest.
The funeral director either misspoke, or outright lied about Trayvon having no injuries. Part of the Crump narrative that Trayvon did nothing wrong. {MOO}...
