Boston.com has the map in Cariis's post above in their online article, with a pin dropped near the Museum of Science? Those railroad tracks? There goes the idea of walking home via rail, and that's a longer walk yet from where he was. With no jacket.

Accidental. If he did it with intent, it would make more sense to go over the side, rather than down between the tracks. Can't wrap my head around how he ended up there. I still don't see really under the influence and wandering aimlessly. To walk from the Market to there, how many...

That whole area has to be well lit at night, for a number of reasons. It was icy, maybe? God, that poor kid.

Of all the scenarios you could possibly craft, this one creates more questions than it answers.

Yeah, lest it appear that I'm a total dork, I do know what a burner phone is :) That just seemed really stupid to put on a public page if it actually was intended to be used by him for some questionable purpose. Social media is weird though, with what and why people are compelled to share, and not.

Now I feel stupid. I saw the phone picture too, but my first thought was that he was making fun of someone (his Dad maybe?) who bought the trac phone, thinking it was a hip upgrade to the Nokia keypad phone. I'd make a poor detective, I fear :)

Ughhh, yes! It's all in what you're used to, with regard to cold. TBH if he wasn't shivering or obviously in distress, I probably look at him and think, "typical kid, out without a coat."

Coming from a non-city person who visits Boston with some frequency -- Boston's loud. He could have been startled by a car alarm, a loud argument down the block, breaking glass, squealing tires, fire or police sirens, you name it. If you're a city dweller, all of those things are part of your...

Anybody with familiarity with store security cameras know if their timestamps are absolutely accurate, say as accurate as a cell phone? I've been thinking about the phone issue, too. Not answering could be, "I'm talking to someone and I don't want to call them back or put them on hold to take...

You did see it here. I saw it originally as part of a TV news report online, too. It was just a short interview on the sidewalk, the man said he'd been hired by the family, and that they were following up with camera footage, etc. If you check online, you'll come across the video, with a bit...

Yeah, got it. For some reason, I had Snapchatting back and forth in my head. Texts I get, and even use, on occasion. :)

Have found the last flurry of posts interesting. I have to play devil's advocate though, hoping as a parent that there wasn't some sort of meet up gone sour behind all of this. He does seem to be heading somewhere in the second frame. He could be retracing his steps to the parking garage...

Random thoughts... In the time frame between leaving and going missing (maybe 30 minutes?) yes, it was cold, but he's a young kid -- fit, healthy, who was raised in and is used to this climate. Not dressed warm, but certainly dressed to move. You'd stick your phone in your pocket, pull your...

Look at the distance from the Bell and Hand to the closest Police Station. https://goo.gl/maps/k5vBeCnrVap

Not disputing a video, which would have infinitely more information. This still image could have simply captured him pacing back and forth. There's no guarantee he continued in the direction he appears to be heading at this particular moment in time. Any idea the specific parking garage he...
