I agree. I was hoping for a 2nd autopsy by another coroner, an expert in these cases. As part of building a good case against whomever. But I understand the family's need to give Joey rest.

It is likely that "Jnhstiog" is a place, as some have indicated here. Joey texted "Jnhstiog" and Matt texted "Are you there?" Which might mean he knew Joey was going to that place. If he did not understand what it meant he might have texted "?" or "what?" instead.

A study of micro-expressions would be useful. If the "hunch" about where to look is true, then the police have a lot of information. My own hunch is that there will be an arrest sooner than later.

I would not dare make suppositions on how Joey died, I am content to let the detectives do their work.

I'm not at all upset that the police have played it close to the vest. It's an investigation and not a tv show. The public is NOT entitled to every tidbit as the investigation proceeds. Some here are a bit too quick to judge and bash police. At some point more facts will be released. For...

News is considered entertainment these days and as such, they will use wording that pulls heartstrings, creates anxiety, anything to keep people following. There are no morals and few ethics in news reporting these days.

yes, that date texted him several more times and then texted "are you alive?" That text alone sent up red flags in my mind.

I agree, when the police are playing it close to the vest, I believe they are working leads. It's the rest of us who are eager for any tidbit of information. I don't know if that is why no billboards or reward but I believe the family was following good advice from the police.
