No. I hadn't seen the Q&A session, but I think that reporter is asking the right questions. Those Northborough attempted abductions seems way similar to VM's case (IMO). Someone in thread #2 spotted the hood-up car in the police log as another similarity to that case (I agree). Nearby...

Following you here with the bike idea; but, if he was on a bike, why dispose of it (especially so close to the scene)? To me it would seem more conspicuous to have your bike found by LE in the woods than to just park it in your garage. In the Sarah Fox Murder investigation (see article), DNA...

Obviously LE was calculating something by not releasing the entire August 7th logbook. But why release only two calls, rather than nothing at all? Maybe as some kind of subtle communication to the perp? Meaning something like: we know what you're driving, and we know you were over on Sam...

Doesn't the call about the suspicious truck guy come in at practically the same time VM was found (8:30pm if IIRC), that is suspicious. But, maybe the guy had just seen the cell phone notification about VM being missing, that is why he asked? Edit: clarity

u/FindHG: If you are going to go back through the threads; there is some really great sleuthing on page 50-67 of thread #2. Not sure why none of those great conversations carried over to thread #3?? I think we were on a really good track with the discussion of police log books as they relate...

Here is an article with a sketch of the suspect in that Northborough case: http://www.masslive.com/news/worcester/index.ssf/2016/06/police_release_sketch_of_suspe.html

After watching the video, I can't help but see similarities to the attempted abduction/assault on 6/23. The area with the guard rail right next to the trail (cart path?) seems eerily similar to the scene in that case...

I think the perp made a fatal mistake by burning her. Rather than destroying evidence it probably introduced evidence easily traceable to him (in my opinion). Running on the theory of an escalating perp, here are a few assaults/ attempted abductions of female runners in the surrounding...

There is a websleuth's thread on "Billy Jean Hall"... http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?29217-MD-Billy-Jean-Hall-24-Jessup-28-Feb-1985

You are probably right. There is not much information out there on the internet about Billie Hall. Would there have been an autopsy since there was no doubt the cause of Jane Doe's death. Given the potential cost would a hospital automatically perform an xray back in '85? Newton, GA is a TINY...

Is the isomap for the last 8 to 10 years before death? Maybe there is information out there regarding where Billie Hall grew up, or where she lived prior to her disappearance? Perhaps Jessup is her last known location; she may have travelled through Jessup on her way to get on 1-95 in route to...

It is interesting that the isomap includes portions of Maryland. This may be more evidence that Jane Doe might be Billie Hall, who is missing out of Jessup, Maryland. See Billie Hall's Namus profile here: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/1726/24 From Billie Hall's namus profile...
