On the local news this morning it was reported that the badly decomposed body of what appears to be an elderly man was found in Highland. If you look at a map, you will see why one might think this could be a match. Ready, set, sleuth! ...Returning to lurkerdom...

Just FYI...I have the Los Angeles Times here in front of me, and it's clear in the article that it is the woman's father (the maternal grandfather of the octuplets) who is returning to Iraq to work. Hope this helps.
