Well, who thinks we'll have a verdict today?? 45min deliberation - verdict: Not Guilty, unanimous on the first vote. Brad will sleep comfortably at the Umstead tonight (anyone been there? They have the BEST showers. Not a big fan of the restaurant though).

One thing that I find missing in the Prosecution case is the absence of a "trigger event". We're told he got mad about the separation agreement, but that was 3 months before her death. We're told he was reading her e-mails, but not one e-mail was presented (especially from close to July 11)...

Too many holes in the prosecution case, the sum total of which gives me reasonable doubt.

So, assuming he had the router at home on July 11, would the router be "accessed" everytime you started up the VPN connection? Now, assuming all the above plus, it had an FXO card, plus it was connected to the TWC phone, what else would BC have had to do on Sat morning to spoof the call?

I would have loved to hear testimony from an expert from Google. I think they could have cleared up alot of this based on their knowledge of how their website works with whatever browser/OS config BC was using. Oh well, like they say "shouda, woulda, coulda"!

Could somone summarize the findings this afternoon? I'm confused about how many different experts were discussed today. Seems like there was a forensics person referring to the ThinkPad hard drive and then there is a Cisco engineer who has new info on routers? Is this correct? Were both denied?

At all the HT's I shop at in Cary, you don't swipe your VIC card, they scan the barcode.

Funny, after all of yesterday's sorted testimony, I went home last night and watched Sunday's episode of Desperate Housewifves that I had recorded. I sat there thinking, "this is boring compared to Lochmere!"

EXACTLY!! Both sides are trying to WN! (not exactly a news flash). Neither side is particularly interested in the truth at this point. They're all doing their jobs and for the most part doing them well. The opportunity for truth-seeking was in the hands of the Cary PD. Sorta like a sports...

The other moral of the story is don't mess around with your neighbor's spouse, and don't put yourself in really stupid situations like getting really drunk then inviting your neighbor over to take a shower while your husband is away. Oh, and if you find yourself in a circle of friends like this...

Just checked, and I'm seriously disappointed by her profile picture (definitely not Eartha Kitt). Funny aside, she works for what appears to be her mother's company called "PM Services Co." Couldn't help but replace "PM" with "Night"! :floorlaugh:

For some reason I've been picturing Eartha Kitt dressed as Catwoman whenever I think of HM! Probably relates to some horrible experience I've blocked from my childhood.

How ironic to call SH and JP back to back! Would have been even better if they had called Jezebel herself, HM, right in between the two!
