I can't believe we just went through this with the missing 7 year old girl in Chilliwack, BC and now we have missing kids in the woods again!

It's kind of remote so probably not any need for cell phone (no service?) or wallet (no stores?) and maybe warm enough to not need a jacket.

Sure they wouldn't stick out here, but I don't think it's that easy to come to Canada - how easy is it to get a fake passport? And they'd have to say why they were coming here. Just for vacation? Where are you staying, they may ask the address, and for how long? You'd think they'd be able to...

I think there are a few cases where parent and child(ren) are missing for a long period of time where it's believed they are living off the grid during that time. I don't have any specific examples though, sorry. But it just doesn't seem to fit with AA as a non-camping type of person, it doesn't...

Maybe just MAYBE if they HAD gone to the court with these claims to try and get a judge to grant them more custody etc., and then were unsuccessful I could see them having this idea, but they didn't even try, just already assumed everything was against them, like this was their only option...

If you know the location of someone who has a warrant, do you have any obligation to tell LE where they are?

Molson, Man seems a bit indirect, or off the main roads at least. Seems it would take her north of Winnipeg, but I don't know the area at all.

Just bumping this one up and I recently listened to her season of the Island Crime podcast. It's a good, well done podcast, and a sad story! I hope she is found one day to give her friends and family closure.

Umm, okkkk... At least she let her family know she's safe. The conspiracy theorists always seem to think they're important enough to be "followed" by the government and in "grave danger".
