They were asked about this specifically during the second meeting - "How did they know 1:00am, was it on camera?" The answer was kind of coy, as I recall, the implication was that it was on camera but they wouldn't come out and say it explicitly.

During the last community meeting they emphasized a couple of times that they had physical evidence that would conclusively identify - or rule out - any suspect as the perpetrator. They didn't say what evidence for some reason, but the obvious assumption is dna. I don't remember now if they...
