There weren’t injuries that would leave a tattoo like MB’s unrecognizable. The primary injuries were a below-knee amputation of the left leg and a severe head injury that destroyed the skull. BJD’s torso was intact aside from rib fractures and some more superficial injuries.

BJD has no tattoos. Marilyn has a pegasus tattoo on her chest and is also taller.

A report from police quoted the conductor as trying to brake after seeing what looked like “white debris across the tracks.” The words are no more specific than that. Based on that description, it sounds like she was laying across the tracks.
