You are right in that Robert Ben Rhoades kept his victims captive for a really long time. We know for sure he comitted crimes around 1990, but when caught he said he had been committing murder for 15 years. So he could have been killing in 1980. I always thought it was possible that he...

Pem definitely does look like WCJD in that one image. But the big thing that throws me off is that to me, naming Rockport/Port Aransas as your hometown seems pretty specific. I feel like a runaway from out of state would just name a big city, like Houston or San Antonio or Dallas. I feel...

She definitely looks Hispanic to me. I'm not sure if this was mentioned yet, but could she be Mexican? If she was, an accent would probably have been noted- but perhaps that could be a reason why there are no records of her.

One thing I find really interesting about this case is that there's so much art of her... Yet we still know practically nothing about her. Is there another case where a victim has been reconstructed as many times? The art is of varying quality too... Especially the early pencil sketches. In a...

So I've decided to type up what is known about Robert Ben Rhoades, and the reasons why he could and could not be the possible culprit here. Unfortunately, there isn't much information out there about him. I will also include my own opinions. Feel free to add anything you'd like. Of course, this...

I think I'll definitely go up there and have a look around the town and the various places again. I don't know about talking to anyone about it, I'm a bit shy and wouldn't really know where to begin. And yeah, I got to visit the Walls Unit and the cemetery is like a 30 second drive away. I...

If I went to Huntsville, how far could I go? Is the case information publically available in the courthouse? Are the police there friendly? It's only a 40 minute drive from me. I actually visited Huntsville last semester. I visited the prison (no, not Ellis) as part of a field trip...

So do you think it was Robert Ben Rhoades or another truck driver we have now idea about?

Hey everyone. Long time lurker here. I have read a lot about this case. I personally really feel that Robert Ben Rhoades is behind this, but what do you guys think about this guy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Allen_Shore I've been reading a lot about him lately, and I think he is a...
