No, this was if she took the stand in her own defense...before penalty phase. I just read it yesterday on Bill Sheaffer's blog (WFTV Legal Expert). I will find it and put the link up. Perhaps I read it wrong...but don't think so.

That's irrelevant to the point I was trying to make. BL's FIL is criticizing the way BL raises Shaniya...and the post I quoted was in some way insinuating that BL's wife was murdered because of him and people I knew. I am simply stating that BL's wife was a grown woman and could make her own...

If BL is out of town and has no court order custody arrangement and mom is on the birth certificate and a legal gaurdian...what the heck is he supposed to do? Call the police and say the mother of my child, who is a legal gaurdian won't give her back. Let's not forget, AD didn't have custody...

Wow! Now we are blaming BL for the death of his wife? She was killed because the perps were there trying to steal a $25,000 settlement the male victim had jus received. IMO, wife was a grown woman and able to select the people she hung around with...it wasn't BL's decision. And to the FIL...

Not sure why the police would come sooner for a dead child vs. a raped child...she was 5? He killed her because she was reported missing. What else are you going to do when a child in your posession is plastered all over the news? Not to mention, McNasty was the aunts boyfriend...probably...

MOO, I think McNasty took her to a hotel to have his way with her...he probably lived somehwere with "other" people where it wouldn't have been easy for him to have his way with her....or he took her there to meet one of the other McNasty's there for a little action with the girl.

When I was growing up we had a neighbor with 3 teenage daughters and a teenage son. If my family called the police everytime a fight broke out with one of the daughters and the mother they would have been there on a daily basis.

Right...but until there is a dna test...it's not a fact. It could be anybody's baby...she had a one night stand with BL...she could have had one with anyone...JMO. Anyway, this isn't relevant. Thanks for the info!
