I still think about this case a lot too. Phillip would be starting his senior year in a few weeks. I hope the girls are doing well.
I never really bought into Wallace having something to do with it and I glad he has been absolved. However, I have never been able to come to grips with Wint...
Thanks for putting this together. Great work! On the Jane Doe from Prince Georges county, do you know where the picture came from? I'm wondering how they have a real picture of a Jane Doe or if that is a reconstruction of some kind. I don't recall seeing that photo before.
Thanks for posting that article above. After reading so many about the wrongly convicted, you can't help but be upset that they couldn't get this one sooner.
The ME said the Maryland Jane Doe was between 5'2 and 5'6 with red or light colored hair. Karen O'Donoghue was 5'8 but did have light colored hair. She was 25 when she went missing and the ME thinks the Jane Doe was approximately 19. There are enough similarities that it would seem...
If I remember correctly, patriciah referred to the jury smirking and rolling their eyes during parts of DW's testimony because it was so ridiculous. There is nothing to appeal on that. I assure you they were not laughing about the crime.
Before the last thread closed, someone asked if people who watched the case thought DW was guilty and if the prosecution did a good job.
I'll sum up my thoughts.
DW is absolutely guilty. My opinion is that there was another person in the house with him at some point, no idea who it was.
I was...
I don't have the outrage at that statement. It doesn't sound unprofessional to me but that's just my opinion and I've spent very little time in court.
Why would that statement get him a new trial?
They should be served by the city trucks one day per week unless they would have contracted for a private service. I don't know what day is trash day there.
Me too. I'm not happy with the prosecution on this. He knew darn well DW was hiding something and I don't buy that line about "not trying to be into people's business," either. Maybe they can't make a case, but they should charge him with aiding and abetting some kind of crime. I don't...
From a strategy point of view, I don't understand what the prosecution gains from having Darrel testify. If it's true he didn't testify to the Grand Jury, they don't really know what he might or might not say.
From the standpoint of wanting to know what happened, I'd love to see him testify...
This is only my opinion and total speculation.
I think it's because he would be an unreliable witness and they don't want to put him on the stand because they don't know what he will say. From what I've read, the prosecution doesn't need him for this case, they seem to have enough to convict...
