I do think most of us already said that?

Thank you, Judge Bright, so obviously what he deserved. Moreover: let that be a lesson to any psychopaths out there: go and get psychiatric help, recognize that you are NOT normal, seek help, but even if you are not inclined to : LOOK AT IAN STEWART: IT IS NOT WORTH IT. DO YOU THINK HE THINKS IT...

Well, no wonder he didn't have any friends! And in spite of all the money and perks which fell into his lap anyway, explains why he would have seethed at the cost of a ring if he wouldn't even pay for a cup of tea! Stupid of him not to cover up his tightness, £10 and £3 for crying out loud!!!

Yes, Helen is keeping her promise from beyond the grave - 30 years indeed.

Knowing what we know about him, since there is not much more he can now do for advancing himself, and he has nothing else to lose (if he gets 30 years tariff without parole as he should do) he might just do that - but not out of decency: I would not put it past him to attempt to write his...

Me too - only just got back now - thank heaven for this outcome - what we all hoped for and mostly expected, but nothing in this crazy world is ever guaranteed. On this occasion at least, justice has been delivered. Helen has the final say: it will be all right in the end. May she now be able...

Not necessarily - they probably at least want to appear they are going through the motions and there is a lot of crap to dismiss.

My dear Dad used to do that to hard boiled sweets so that we didn't choke on them, bless him (on the other side now).

Love that film - absolutely brilliant and understated in many ways but with huge impact. Even my 13 year old & 15 year old daughters love that film and will ask to see it every once in a while. However, much more to pity in that defendant's case...

    Quite possibly disturbingly similar, Cottonweaver.

Even the Defence is making Freudian slips...probably an indication of concealed knowledge.

Except that I'm not sure he is actually doing his job well: surely the defence can't be both versions: either that he accidentally caused her death and he dumped her in the cesspit to avoid manslaughter charge OR that Nick and Joe really did exist and the defence is based on this storyline, But...

BIB: wrong! His behaviour was no different because he is a psychopath and because Helen meant zilch to him.

BIB: Whoa: is this (in spite of references to Nick & Joe for added obfuscation) what he thinks (or knows) to have actually happened to her??? I have to say, it did cross my mind at one point much earlier on whether the stupid idiot (IS backwards) accidentally killed her or caused her death then...

Not so very ridiculous when it was already conceded that the pit was 'an excellent place to leave a body' - not exactly the same as leaving a body lying around for anyone to see nor even as obvious as burying in the garden - and it is a fact that many murderers have done exactly that.
