Police do not say he has been ruled out. I'm not as strong on him as a suspect as others are. If he pulled it off without leaving any evidence at all then he must have gotten extremely lucky.
I think it's more likely to be an acquaintance abduction. Remember, there are unknown sex offenders...
It seems like she hitched into Huntsville. The story is she left the first gas station walking north on Sam Houston Ave. This goes right through a college town where lots of kids would be out for Halloween. So, who knows if she had hitched in from far away, and she would have blended right in...
Here is an update from today. The people who run the site have open and ongoing relationships with the local police so I think it's likely the most accurate. http://montgomerycountypolicereporter.com/skeletal-remains-found-woodlands-update/
The people I know of missing in the immediate area...
Today the only news I've seen is that only a skull was found, with at least a year of decomposition. The houston ME anthropology team has the remains. The news said it could take months to identify. I hope it doesn't take that long for the sake of families. There are a number of missing people...
There is word that skeletal remains were just found about 2 miles from where Michelle went missing. While the area is populated now, it would have been the woods behind her neighborhood in 97. Only minimal details have been released so no info that would lead to her or away from her yet.
Probably - assuming any of the info is correct. On some of these I'm beginning to wonder. Just for Tamera there are so many discrepancies. Namus has no birth date and lists her as 22 - 24. The Charley page says her alias is Morris, but Texas says its Norris (it is Norris). The Doe network says...
IDing resemblances is not my strong suit, but I can't help but hone in on her right eyebrow and the area between her lips and nose (not sure what this is called). They seem very much alike. I'm trying to attach a side by side.
Who would I submit the info to?
I want to post this young lady even though there are date/info discrepancies. Her file was not submitted to NAMUS until 2010, and based on the time lapse and other errors I have seen/heard about in these kinds of cases, I don't think it's an impossibility.
Tamera's file reports her missing...
Here's a potential that I don't think has been posted to this thread. It looks like she was just added to NAMUS last month. Unfortunately there are not many details, no DNA and no dentals.
I do think there are some similarities...
