Meh no thanks. I mean there is always some alternative to these stories like Alien abduction, Cartels, attacked by wild animals. It's normal for the human mind to make up scenarios I actually thought it was possibly headhunters when I first learned about it. not saying its not possible

This is great news. This was possibly a hate crime and is eerie similar to Brandon Teena who also died around the same time on new years 4 years after. (also sexually assaulted and brutally murdered like this person). RIP

That’s intresting. Wonder if she was Tajik. They are east persians that live in Afganistan and tajikistan, which is right above afganistan and Iran. I wouldnt be surprised if she left there in the early 90s after the fall of the soviet union and couldnt adjust to the new lifestyle.

I hope she gets identified soon. People think DNA testing started in the 1980s but it actually started in mid 1970s. Marcia Trimble case is a good example, police talk about recovering DNA evidence from her in 1975. So by 1991 they knew what they were doing when it came to collecting.

Glad she got her name back. I was concerned she would never be identified after reading she was cremated not long after being found, but even in 1990 they knew what they were doing when it came to collecting DNA. I am curious to see what she looked like in life.
