    Just being devil's advocate regarding the scratches on his arms. If he was assisting in the search, he could have worn sleeves to avoid tree branches, briars, etc. Doesn't really explain why he would STILL have them on in one of the later photos. Mosquitoes are also pretty bad around here...

    Regarding his association with NC State, I'd say it's far different than Jason Young's. Cooper only got an MBA there and thus, most likely had not real ties to the rest of the university or its extracurricular activities, unlike the Youngs who went for undergrad, Michelle cheered, etc.
