Exactly. I came home last Sunday at 4:30am and it was very unsettling. I definitely feel edgy and a little disappointed in the lack of security. Especially walking through the parking garage. Mine is right across from the police and I still see none of them anywhere.
Here’s what I see right now living in Legacy. There was a ton of police presence EVERYWHERE that first week. Then for a while there were extra officers patrolling the streets and the park at all hours of the night. And now, these last 4 or 5 days, all of a sudden it is business as usual...
From the Facebook posts she says she and ALP moved in together August 24th, 2013, and no more roomies. Since she graduated in May of that year, I am assuming it was probably during college so in the Dallas area.

The apartment buildings are gated and the resident garages from the second level up (on average 5 levels) are gated. But the community is open so there are no gates around the shops, restaurants or bars (unless you count the gates around the old cemetary). I'm not sure how far the two cars were...

Everyone has theories ( boyfriend, ex, guy who walked her) but I think we all agree it wasn't a random stranger. There are two public parking garages where people come in and out at all times of day and night. The one she was in is one of those. It seems a very risky place to plan a kidnapping...
