Yep, as a child I lived with my grandmother in Karragullen from 1969 to 1974 and I continued to visit her after I moved to Perth, through to the 1990's. Lots of bush tracks all around that area (Carmel, Pickering Brook, Kalamunda) and although some tracks had signs at the main roads saying...

Re: Sarah Spiers body location
Just my opinion, of course but I doubt he’d have deposited her body close to where he lived.
He’s intelligent and organized (according to workmates who described him as meticulous and pedantic and also the clear and orderly way in...
For me, the initial reaction was, 'creepy, middle-aged man'...The obviously dyed black hair is too dark and unflattering for his age and hints of a man desperately trying to hang onto his youth (perhaps his thick mop of dark hair earned him compliments as a young man and he thinks he's still...

Heather O'Neill's article in W.A today (link above and already posted by sluthy) is better than the Perth Now article in that it contains more detail about the events of the night...
If you want to know what's going on in a woman's life, ask her best female friend/s.
Was the marriage in trouble? Had Robyn discovered or suspected her husband was having an affair?
How long had Robin had her hair cut very short for? I cut mine short and, as soon as I did, my bloke lost...
Perhaps he kept his house(s) very plain and unappealing so as to not draw the attentions of burglars? If he'd been burgled then he may have felt pressure from his wife or family to report the incident to the police...and police interest would have been the last thing he'd have wanted.
His...
I agree. My ex used to go out fishing on his own and stay out until the early hours of the morning- and rarely caught anything, either. If I'd been suspicious I'd have thought he was having an affair - but unless I found his behaviour strange or physical evidence like blood, murder would have...
Thanks SgtPep
The backyard looks big from those pics and, in the most recent aerial view (2010) of the property from Google the backyard doesn't appear to have been developed or built over. I wonder if it's still a big, almost-empty space?
He may have just grabbed it because it was white (would have been visible on the clothes line at night, if that's where he stole it from), large enough to wipe himself on or cover his victim's head with and yet thin and flexible enough to ball up into a tightish bundle and carry.
Just thoughts.
Whenever info that might relate to BRE suddenly disappears or cannot be found I just tend to feel confirmation that whatever disappeared is relevant to his case.
My opinion only.
Same as what my dad told me re: security. He also took a redundancy package a couple of years before the Karrakatta rape.
I remember going to the Wellington St Exchange (the big one in Perth city) around about 1990 and I remember the numbered keypad at the door. Not sure if all small, suburban...
Thankyou Frankie.
Thanks for being very patient with us all, here. I have read your posts (I think at Bigfooty) where you detailed that night and your subsequent dream. I think you've been consistent with your story.
Just my opinion.
Hi Frankie
So, have you checked with the mates you were with that night and neither of them saw Ciara talking to someone in a car, either?
Sometimes one person in a group notices something but the others don't.
Just wondering...
