Jensen said Kyron's coat and backpack were not left at the school, I thought they were left behind.

I thought they were left behind too.

Well those were two things I didn't know before - the time frame and the coat & backpack. Anything else? I wonder how CW Jensen knows that. I like him and he's been around Portland a very long time, but AFAIK, he's not on this case.

IMO, valid. Very valid. I also think TH's varied "sightings" (outside of the alleged 9:12 Fred Meyer receipt) were timed, in advance, to make it appear she was "two places at once."

It's not so difficult to see how TH COULD have killed Ky. The most heart-wrenching questioning is WHY.

IMO, MOO. IMHO.

Sorry, Kimster. I'm, once again, OT.

Also, I recall KH and DY saying the backpack had been left in the classroom and they, subsequently, had retrieved the backpack. Not sure about the coat.

My apologies for input OT.

I don't think Jensen spoke as though he was sure about the coat and backpack, but what making an assumption.

A button push was not nearly enough. TY Daisy.

IMO, he wasn't up on the case at all. If the coat and backpack had been missing along with Kyron, the sheriff's dept would have included those items in their description of his clothing when he disappeared. As far as I know, the backpack and jacket have never been publicly described.

 Whoa! That is news to me! If that is true then Kyron was leaving with someone and not taken against his will (while walking around the school). MOO

I haven't seen anything in the local media about Kyron being featured on the show.

and they are due to make a public report at any time, right?

NATISHA LANCE, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Right

JEAN CASAREZ, LEGAL CORRESPONDENT, "IN SESSION": You know, Nancy, it is eight months to the day that Kyron went missing. And this is an extremely active investigation. They have just launched a very targeted search in Rural Oregon, but I want to go out to Natisha Lance because the task force that was formed shortly after Kyron went missing has not stopped a day in the search for Kyron, and they are due to make a public report at any time, right?

NATISHA LANCE, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Right. This task force was formed back in October. It`s a nine-member multi-agency task force. And Jean, I just have to remind people it was 42 different agencies that were involved in this search for Kyron in the very beginning, but February 1st was their 120-day deadline. They were supposed to go before commissioners, and they were hoping to have some type of big development in the case by that point.

Wow, and that's why someone said in one of the Press Conferences to "wait until February" then. It also explains why they wanted to do these comprehensive searches in specific places so they can cross them off the list, I bet.

Good ~ I hope we get a report soon. This could be a big deal!

I think I missed something! What press conference said that? That one with Sheriff Staton? Do you think they won't find anything? Or that they will release a report before they finish the search area? I'm sorry, I probably sound so dense.

I think NG was just talking about back in December when Staton indicated he hoped to be able to report progress or at least name a suspect in February. He did not promise any kind of a public report or press conference.

I think the report will have to be public since Stanton said he has to report to the County Commissioners. He also talked about "calling out" a suspect or "identifying certain people or things." I think that would deserve a press conference.

The Chair of the Mult Co Board of Commissioners says that Staton will brief the Board in the 3rd week of February.
Can't link; it was a personal email to me.
