I'm honestly surprised that I didn't know about it until just now. Those "houses" are literally right next to each other, and you know those people had no sanitary facilities or utilities, and little in the way of making a legitimate living.

Around 1,000 houses were destroyed in the blaze, officials say, months after a similar incident in the Philippine capital.

Here are additional pictures. This story says that more than 1,000 structures were destroyed, and 8,000 people displaced. It doesn't give a number of casualties.
