Oh tennessee, thanks for your wish , but we Californians are "skating on thin ice" (so to speak) right about now. We have been relatively quiet earthquake-wise for quite some time and I suspect we are in for a "big one " in the not too distant future.

Now I will:slap: myself for saying that!

Exactly right Nova, my cat jumping up on my bed while I'm watching the tube feels like a little quake :D

Funny you should mention that. The very first earthquake I ever experienced 22 years ago - I thought it was the cat bumping the couch. Then I noticed the cat was across the room...

Well, at least I don't work on the 40th floor in downtown L.A. any more.

Here in the desert, we may die of heat prostration when the power goes out, but there isn't so much to fall on us.
