I'm honestly not quite sure how to start this, so I guess I'll just jump into this.

Twenty years ago a good friend of mine - Jennifer Bedingfield - who I met while attending Kent Jr High (KJH) was killed the day before Mother's Day while riding her bike with her dad on her way back from getting her mother a Mother's Day present. She was hit by a car, which then fled the scene.

Details are minimal, but the most recent article about the incident can be found [HERE]

The current details we have are:

  • She was hit on Benson Road (State Route 515) in Kent Washington
  • The vehicle the person was driving was a blue or brown 1982 Datsun 310 that was owned by someone in the Kent area in 1999 and later dumped in Enumclaw.
This isn't a lot to go on unfortunately, but given that the state patrol (at the time of this article in 2018) have over 100 cold cases to deal with, I fear this may never get solved.

I'm hoping someone can help here, even if we only make a little progress - it would be great to know that it was moving forward.
