did LE talk to these co workers before all of this came out in the media ? they could all be just adding to the story too.. i mean why didnt these people come forward asap when this came out ? this case has made me doubt people alot . people are so odd sometimes
Perhaps it would bring too much negative attention to the business. For all we know, the employees were instructed not to talk to the media.

Unless, and I'm not saying this is so, CA was often bringing drama to the workplace, KWIM? If you have a coworker who is always coming in and talking about their private life with dramatic flourish, you may tend to dismiss what they say.
It has recently been reported(according to the co-workers) that Cindy rarely talked about her family...until Casey left with Caylee.

Absolutely agree...furthermore, the VERY minute that I smelled the stench of that car AND I knew that I hadn't seen KC or Caylee...I'd have been punching 9-1-1 right there in the tow yard...period!

Especially, when I see Caylee's carseat, favorite dolly & KC's purse still in the car...right there and not a minute later!

I think I would have wigged out so bad the towyard would have had to call 911 to take care of me and find my daughter and grandaughter.

Caller..."Why won't KC take a lie detector test?"

Because they tried and the machine started smoking and blew up. With her they'd need a truth detector test. :floorlaugh:

You know the first time I would have yelled at my daddy I would have been taking a dirt nap, because he would have knocked the carp out of me.

On another note, I like that atty Mark E. He states the facts and doesn't try to spin things.

hehehehe .. That's funny! :D

In all fairness, maybe this is like someone not going to the hospital when you have chest pains. Or throwing out your husband when he comes home smelling like perfume and with lipstick all over his shirt.

It is MUCH more likely that the chest pains mean a heart attack or your husband is cheating than your daughter MURDERED your grandchild and you just smelled the child's body. Who could even imagine something like THAT happening to someone you know, much less to you?

Even when you have every symptom for a heart attack you've ever read about, how many of us talk to co-workers, friends or relatives hoping they will say it is indigestion instead of going to emergency rooms? Cindy talked in the first place to either be given reasons the situation was ok or to be told things were bad and get pushed into doing something. Since Cindy never talked about Casey or Caylee before (despite Casey's lies and theft) opening up enough to say she was worried after June 15 must have meant Cindy was upset.

The workers might have talked to each other, but might also have thought they were being overly imaginative. I've been in situations where I didn't react and should have. I've also been guilty of being too imaginative and looking foolish.

Most of us,just plain don't expect the very worst to happen to us, even when it is something common like heart attacks.

Caller: KC keeps saying she is innocent, why isn't she taking a polygraph?

Response - JB would not allow it.

Caller: Did blankie match the bedding from home?

Response: Prosecution is keeping some things to themselves.

RH: Will we ever really know how this happened?

Response: We may never know what the cause of death was.

(mybold)

Yeah and there was no cause of death for Laci and Connor either but Scott Peterson is still sitting on death row.

He claims to have driven it straight home, IIRC. I always thought Cindy was home with him, but we know now that isn't true. Even this story makes no sense anymore!

This leaves George and possibly even Lee with the car until George goes to work and Cindy comes home...which neither of those things are clear.

One thing that IS clear is that in the recent documents we are told that the car is CLEAN...Now imagine if you will, a car, sitting on the side of a busy road for several days and then in a storage yard for weeks...it would stand to reason some dust, etc. would have accumulated on the car. But LE states plainly that the car is CLEAN...did George stop by a car wash or did he wash it up when he got it home? I just doubt, noting that Cindy has told her co-workers that the car was a mess that the outside would have been so immaculate as to be termed CLEAN...someone washed the car...I wonder whom?

Yes I am. If a co worker told me what she di I would just to be sure.

You know I thought I would do the same thing as well. If someone told me they had recovered their car and it smelled like a dead body and their daughter and granddaughter had been missing for a month, I would have dialed 911 so fast it would have made my co-workers head spin...

JDB and Magic-Cat~ I have to agree with both of you. When someone tells you something like that...it would be a good idea to go ahead and call in spite of the protests of the coworker. You could be saving a life! Good thinking!

From my limited understanding (been focused on other things) LE did talk to her coworkers before all this came out in the media. This just came out with the doc dump on 1/21/09 is my understanding.

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

No, you are right...these did just come out with the doc dump!

I would have to assume that Cindy asked them (like she did with all of the friends/witnesses she instructed in the first days) not to discuss the case in the media.

LOL Manatee! I guess I should have said Mark, but couldn't remember his name.

He is always trying to spin it for the defense side!! What do mean he doesn't spin?! Of course he does.

He does spin it in the defense direction, but I noticed that he isn't spinning as much as usual the last few days. (ie. his opinion of JB's presser), he didn't think much of that and JB pulling the ethnicity card.

Hmmmmm....Lee.....makes me wonder now about his saying during his LE interview, "the first time I smelled that smell" ....could he have been the one to clean up the car, being that was the "first time" he smelled it, and the second time he smelled it was later when GA called him to go over and be of assistance to CA. Just sayin'.:)

Hello? Cindy tells several co-workers the car smelled like a dead body yet none of these people work for LE or 911 so she can't really claim she was purposely exaggerating in order to get them (OCSO) to respond faster. Does that make sense?

"Absolutely" LOL!...good catch! That would just be office talk...not an...what do they call it?...an utterance?
