Kyron's Skyline School principal appears before grand jury

Friday it was Skyline School principal Ben Keefer who arrived just after 2 p.m. to appear. He left by 4:10 p.m. and told reporters he had "no comment."

Skyline principal appears before Kyron grand jury

KGW has learned that Skyline Elementary School principal Ben Keefer appeared before the grand jury on Friday.

Earlier this week, investigators asked the Portland Public School district for a list of employees. KGW has learned that several other school employees have been subpoenaed by the grand jury.

Sources also told KGW that the grand jury was focusing on trying to determine Terri's whereabouts during the day that Kyron disappeared.

Friend of Terri Horman used fake name to buy cell phone

Friends of Terri Horman purchased cell phones to communicate with her after Kyron Horman disappeared two months ago, one of whom did so using a fake name, according to multiple sources on Friday.

The friend, who is not DeDe Spicher, went to the Lloyd Center and bought a prepaid cell phone at an electronic store. The friend now says she regrets using a fake name and that it was “stupid” and “spur of the moment”.
