And, when these people say "smells like rotting flesh" just exactly how many of them know what rotting flesh smells like? I suspect not to many....

Would it be much different than the smell of roadkill?

I admit I was assuming rotting human smells roughly the same as rotting cow, rotting dog, or rotting gopher. Not to be overly crude or anything.

it has been many years since i smelled a decomposed body, but i can assure you nothing you have ever smelled approaches it. a lot of people cannot help but to gag and throw up the first time.
