As suspected, the two warrants that remain sealed are "sensitive" to the case.

Major I suspect.

I didn't know what was meant by a "gel liner" exactly, and didn't know if it was something that would attach to the prosthetic itself (in which case the pieces would have been "separated" in order for one to go in dumpster and one by side of road). But it appears (as has been explained upthread), that the gel liner is something worn on the stump (example - http://www.amputeesupplies.com/products/silipos-singledouble-gelliner.html), so it could very well have been on Zahra's leg when she was dismembered, and that's how it ended up at the same site near where her bone was found.

Just speculating.

Right. Why go through all that if you're going to dump at least some parts in some not-that-obscure location? Dismembering definitely spreads evidence - think the blood splatter, drains, more blood splatter, etc - and unless the end result is what you think is a perfectly-hidden body (I'm thinking Leslie Mahaffy / cement blocks, for instance), why go through all that? Why dismember if you end up essentially just tossing pieces everywhere? Seems to me it would almost increase the chances something was found.

Unless, the dismembering wasn't to cover up a crime at all. Maybe it really was just another part of the depravity. Maybe it was meant to happen that way. Just wondering aloud here...

That's what I was thinking too--that dismembering and distributing the parts increases the chances something will be found. All I could figure (barring your suggestion, that the dismemberment wasn't an attempted cover-up), was that they hoped a random piece here or there wouldn't be recognized as part of Zahra (as opposed to finding a complete corpse). Indeed, if EB hadn't tipped them off, I don't know that they WOULD have found those parts distributed around. It is harder to find smaller pieces. (Oh, this is so horrible.)

Teh, or anyone feel free, I do not mean this to be insensitive but in all honesty I do not know the answer to this question but here goes:

Does anyone know if a person with an amputation such as Zahra had routinely sleeps with or without the prosthetic ? As I said, not meaning to be insensitive.

In reality, since Zahra's hearing aides were left behind, why not her prosthesis if she did not sleep with it attached ? I am just having a hard time thinking one person alone could make all these trips to dumpsters, differing country roads and remote locations, digging a hole and all this after the exertion of dismembering a body and cleaning up the residence afterwards to hide it from a hard working tree cutter.

I believe the reason that her prosthetic leg was disposed of was because she would have to have it on to go anyplace, or be taken anyplace. So, if their story was that she ran away, or was kidnapped, she would have to have her leg on, or the perps would have to carry her. The hearing aids would not prevent her from leaving/being taken.
I believe they did this to promote their kidnapping story. just my opinion.

There are various types of liners. The cloth ones are used by putting it over the stump then pulling the sock through a tiny opening that is closed after you have pulled it through the hole and the suction to the stump occurs.

These are gel liners which tell me that it was probably a more sophisticated type of socket. The gel liners you are referring to are used more often in patients where the stump is more stable to account usually in water retention etc thus usually amputees that are out of the growth stage. That does not mean to say that gel liners are not used for children. The most common use for children is to account for space within the socket .

I am thinking this was a very clean amputation like my daughters where they would be able to leave a good cushion of skin that allows for more comfort once fitted; sometimes this is not possible.

In my daughters case her new socket actually has a gel liner built into the socket which is then covered and adhered to the socket. When it is adhered you would have to literally have the tools to take it off.

There are gel liners often used at the base of the prosthetic if the stump does not make it completely down to the bottom. These are usually round in nature and although could pull out when removing the prosthetic would not adhere to the stump.

I find it highly unlikely from what i have seen in pictures due to her awkward stance and the bulging above the socket that she would be using the gel liners as this was a very ill fitting one and simply to tight. She simply could not of gotten the suction to work and was probably having a difficult time even getting it to work without the liner

There was comment though that there had been some follow up at st judes. If this was for the prosthetic then maybe she had recently received a new one thus a gel liner might of been in use.

In my opinion i do not believe that this was the case. I am more inclined to think that some of the gel liners were dumped and this happened to be one place.

If my memory serves me right they found the gel liner then the bone in the same area and the gel liner has been stated as being the prosthesis by MSM. They are simply wrong.

I also think many have forgotten about a critical piece of evidence found by the defence team. I have a funky feeling this is actually what they retrieved. My reasons for this is that there is no way a dumpster would of stood that without being dumped and the fact that neither the prosthetic nor the were listed on the search warrants released

When i say i follow the trail of the prosthetic to know the distance my daughter travelled i am very serious about that. The 2 things that were not listed on these search warrants were the prosthetic and the crutches and we know they were not seized which again leads me to believe that LE already had those. Unless they are on the ones that have not been released.

LE in this case has been methodical, diligent and not once do i see the request to search for these 2 items. As for the release of these warrants i believe also that we have a huge twist in store for us. If they truly wanted these to remain sealed in such a high profile case they would of gone to extreme lengths to do so. Even for an emergency hearing. This was not done thus i must conclude that LE did want these released and i am sure for a purpose. I simply have to trust that they have a reason behind it all

I also believe that other searches were going on while the MSM was occupied in other places

This case is so incredible that it defies the imagination. I will also note that most of this information came from EB thus i must take it with a grain of salt as i would not believe anything she had to say and will probably play a huge role in any trial

With regard to crutches - in the warrants released a couple of days ago, cutches were included on the inventory from the house on 21st Street. So those were recovered from the home.

When people compared the hearing aids to serial killer trophies I thought no way. EB was at the event where they gave them to her. She heard over and over again that they were worth 5K and she put stashed them for later. Drug money, or whatever she does with her cash.
