I have a daughter who is MI and I have had to take courses about MI, in-fact NAMI (National Association for Mental Illness has recently asked me to teach it).
I CAN WITH ALL CERTAINTY tell you that many MI people go undetected, undiagnosed properly.
But KC did not display a full range of emotions not a connected emotion to the tragedy.
