Item 35... from the house.... from inside a glove inside a box.... 10 somethings or ID... legibility struggle

To me, it looks like...ID cards inside glove inside box... but who knows. One wonders whose id cards they may have been, and why they would have been there, almost as if in an attempt to be hidden away. JMO

ETA...If they were ID cards, and they were not his, I trust that LE attempted to follow up with the people named on the cards, to try to determine how they may have gotten into BK's possession. How freaky would it be if they were female's ID's, and not of any of the 1122 King Rd residents. I am pretty sure that we would have heard if any belonged to them. JMO

I've always suspected that his missing shower curtain was an indicator that things didn't go as planned and paranoia likely kicked in at some point.

Meaning he took a shower(s), and couldn't be sure that he didn't get victim *anything* on the curtain so he pulled it at some point. Likely before he left for the East Coast. IMO

Same behavior that extended into his kitchen and the text message that the DailyMail reported on purporting to say that BK was grocery shopping with gloves on. MOO

So him going on a complete cleaning spree the evening after makes complete sense.

Wasn't there something about a storage space he was leasing too? Or at least some speculation?

Everything above MOO
His apartment came with a storage closet, but they found it unlocked and empty with cobwebs and dust inside indicating it was unused.

Year old video, first 45 minutes or so, GrayHughes does the actual drive as indicated in the PCA, in real time, both am and pm, interspersed with video of the Elantra from the Linda Lane camera. It's very compelling. And chilling.

I recommend 2x playback speed, and fast-forwarding to the fourth loop... he has a clock posted, synced with the PCA and his own drive time.

It's eerie.

A thought about the supposed “mixed DNA” under Maddie’s nails- super long fake nails are EXTREMELY popular with ages, like, 15 - 35 and have been for at least 5ish years now. I’m 27 and most of the 20-somethings and teenagers I know have regular monthly/whatever nail appointments. Maddie- as well as Kaylee and Xana and DM & BF- have been dressed and styled very trendily in every picture I’ve seen. I have no idea if Maddie had fake nails the night she was killed (I tried looking at screenshots from the food truck but it was too blurry to tell) but it’s a decent chance given her age/style and if she did, I wouldn’t have been surprised if there was DNA from 60 different people because those things collect EVERYTHING. Like I said no idea if she had fakes or not, just a thought. Normal fingernails collect plenty of junk too.

eta the last pic of the 4… still blurry but those look like they might be fakes to me.

I didn’t think much about the ID cards at the time. I have a tendency to pile up my registration and insurance cards on my passenger side visor. There could be a lot of student IDs, old and new license, any building IDs etc.

I had the same thought as you, and although I am not sure if I can link it here, Maddie's Instagram page has a ton of photos, many showing her with what appears to be fake nails, including three photos posted on Nov 11, 2022, where she does appear to have fake nails, though not what I would consider freakishly long. Agree. Obviously this item fell within the scope of what could be seized but my guess is probably not relevant to the case. Old IDs. Glove might just mean a card holder with plastic sleeves, rather than a mitten or whatever. But we wait I guess, just in case. Jmo

I agree to some point, but these were not found above a car's visor, where one may need to be able to get to registration and insurance cars, etc. From the description, it sounds as if these things were found stuffed into a glove, maybe likely a latex glove, and inside a box with other gloves, like very many of us bought in the early days of Covid. That doesn't just sound like someone with a tendency to pile up cards. But perhaps you are right. Maybe the wording describing it is the strange part, and not the find. JMO

This does seem to make more sense than my hypothesis.

To follow up on this post, this is the link to Maddie's Instagram page, with lots and lots of photos, many showing her with what appears to be fake nails. Most recent pics posted the day before the night of the killings, Nov, 11, 2022, cannot determine for certain. JMO

I couldn’t get the video in the article link to play on my phone for some reason so here’s the YouTube link for anyone having a similar issue

eta Ugh god the urgency of the male voice at 2:47 coming out of the house saying “Get out, get out, get out” is SO chilling

eta again you can hear the male voice calling for Xana and Ethan at 1:57 and again for Xana at 2:11 (I think I hear “oh my god!” In between the two as well)… it seems like the idea that the male friend/neighbor went in and saw Xana and perhaps Ethan while the girls were on with 911 is in fact what happened

Absolutely heartbreaking. Those that were brave enough to go inside, at the dispatcher's insistence, will never be unable to see what they did see that dreadful morning. I pray for strength for DM, especially, and any others who will be called to relive this on the stand at trial.

And some wonder what they chose to relocate after the murders... JMO

Hearing DM say with her trembling voice “cmon BF we gotta go check… but we have to” is so rough. She was very brave despite her obvious terror.

I feel horrible for the girls, but right now I'm thinking of HJ and how horribly traumatized he is as well. Ethan was his best friend and his frat brother. He'd obviously know Xana pretty well due to his closeness to Ethan. And he went into that house, probably being to feel a growing dread after BF&DM told him about the noises and the sighting of the man in the house the night before but still hoping it was nothing.

Chances are very high he saw at least X or E. If he wasn't actually able to see them, he may have seen blood somewhere near the door or began to smell blood from the room as he called their names. Combined with the utter stillness coming from the third floor, that would be more than enough for him to suspect everyone had been killed.

It sounds to me that he told the girls to call 911 and they dialed right as he was going in.

I am quite sure that when he told the operator very definitively that they weren't breathing, that he knew they were dead and was trying to spare the girls for just a bit longer until the police arrived. And he kept him voice mostly under control, but I suspect when they heard him say "get out, get out, get out" and they saw his face, they knew it was more than just passed out.

I hope he has had good therapy and good support and will continue to do so in the years to come. Because what he saw, smelled, and/or didn't hear that day will be with him forever.

And I'm positive that he will be called to the stand to testify as to what he experienced.

The call was not leaked. It was released because of a public records request many in the media filed including me.

I know there have been questions online about the authenticity of calls released -- I can verify I received this from the 911 dispatch center. It is confirmed.

This is the full 911 call from the Bryan Kohberger case -- the day University of Idaho students found one of their friends unconscious.

The 911 Call

The 911 callers do not reveal their names to the dispatcher and the dispatcher does not ask for them.

The call begins with a young woman, crying as she tells the dispatcher, "Something happened in her house, we don't know what."

After a brief exchange about the address of the emergency, a second young woman gets on the phone.

She is much more matter of fact when she tells the dispatcher, "One of our, one of the roommates is passed out and she was drunk last night and she’s not waking up. Oh, and I saw some man in their house last night."
