I *really* love Judge H's soft and calm voice and demeanor

I wanted to smart off and say: "Oh, why don't you just ask him AT?"Judge H.
Oh but AT is "saving it (alibi) for later" because she hasn't gone trough all of the terabytes of discovery, as IF she expects to find one!
I think Hippler is basically telling both the state and the defense that this three-month trial is not going to become a 4-month trial, so they had better start getting their shizz together now. JMOI'm getting the impression that Hippler runs a very tight ship and expects both sides to do the same and to treat the institution of court and what it stands for with respect.
Bodes well for trial.
MOO
I just erased my comment because I wasn't sure if those 2 words weren't diagnosed or he wasn't diagnosed.I missed that somewhere too then!![]()
I just watched a bit more of Hippler's response to timing advance issue. Ultimately AT is responsible for allowing SY Ray's affidavit to be filed Hippler went back to his early days on the case. He reminded AT that he expects professionalism from attorneys in his court. The kind of accusations in Ray's affidavit are so serious they could even lead to disbarment. It's clear he is deeply incredulous that AT allowed Ray's affidavit to be submitted. MooAT&T Timing Advance Records Defense and Sy Ray gets absolutely DESTROYED by Judge Hipler.
Asks defense what evidence they have to support that the prosecution had these records. Hipler talks about Sy Ray ignoring the 7 day retention policy, and how this is a glaring omission considering the inflammatory accusations made in that affidavit."You've made some serious accusations against the state of hiding evidence, yet you've provided no factual basis, zero, that this evidence existed.""Where is the evidence that Mr. Kohberger's timing advance records available from AT&T were available in December?"
"His affidavit is quite extensive, and he seems to ignore that issue (7 day retention period)."A visibly angry Judge Hipler talks about how serious these accusations are, and how he had previously warned the parties of "theatrics." Says this is the sort of thing that could get people disbarred, and Sy Ray ignored the reasonable answer from the prosecution (7 day retention period). Just devastating stuff.
He did. He was angry, very angry about Ray,'s reckless unsubstantiated, serious allegations.I missed some of today. Is it true the Judge Hippler called Sy Ray a conspiracy theorist?!
No wonder they want to "suppress" that Amazon data information! imoInteresting tidbit from the judge. I don’t think he was talking hypothetically when he mentioned Kohberger purchasing the knife using an Amazon gift card, he had purchased with a credit card.
