Thankyou, loci.
Blum IS rubbish. He couldn't even get "Jack in the Box" correct, called it "Burger King".

I believe it was Mass Guy who actually did the math many posts ago to show that it was a much larger sample than what some people would try to lead us to believe. I also saw it worked out on a site we can't refer to.

I asked earlier about which door was open.

Did Xana come out to the kitchen to get a drink and maybe let's say wash some catsup or mayo off her hands? If she saw the slider open she would have shut it.

XK saying "someone’s here" has bugged me from the beginning. (I do think it was her.) It was a party house where there were likely random people in and out all of the time and where 5 people lived. There would always be noises. Besides, in the past, how often had KG drunk texted her boyfriend late and he came over?

As for the slider, if BK had left it open and she shut it. Was that enough to prompt her to say "someone's here"?

And why would she just say that outloud? If she did call out "someone's here" who was she talking too? DM said by 4am everyone was in their rooms or asleep. And getting her food from doordash I would imagine she was already trying to be quiet.

I used to think she went to use the bathroom and then saw BK. But, the bathroom is right next to her bedroom. She would have had to have been startled by him in the kitchen.

Could Ethan had woke up and asked her if she would get him a glass of water? If he was slightly awake that could be him she's saying out loud "someone's here."

During those seconds at seeing him did fear set in? She ran to her bedroom but couldn't keep him out. He may have slashed her and at the same time Ethan could have yelled "What's going on!" BK had no choice but to attack him. After that he turns around and says to her that he's there to help...

I have often wondered by the time he stepped away from EC if she had attempted to stand up. Then when he attacked her again, she fell hard. Maybe that's why the neighbors camera picked up the thud.
I just spent the last 1/2 hour looking for it but can't find it. GH does a short video and in there he shows an email he received. In the email it was stated that there was what sounded like fighting coming from Xana's room.

This makes sense. What happened inside Xana's room would have sounded like a fight from DM's point of view.
Then she heard crying.
Then she saw a masked man.

I would believe DM alledgedly shared some info with a friend and that friend emailed GH.

I'll keep going till I find it. But, if someone else remembers it please post it.

Right. Thanks a lot for the memory prod.

So yeah, imo Blum's deficiently daft DNA discourse was logically debunked some time ago now. Jmo.

While it does not specify the amount of DNA found on the knife sheath, it does seem to put to bed the idea that the amount was 'miniscule', despite Blum's apparent claim . JMO

The amount of Bryan Kohberger's DNA found on a knife sheath is far greater than defense attorneys would like admitted at trial, a laboratory manager has informed a court.

From state's court filing dated 3/17/2025

8. The term “Trace DNA” implies amount. The word trace is defined as a very small amount and is used in the scientific literature when describing evidence samples with low amounts of DNA that do not yield a profile or only a partial profile. I would not be willing to use that term and it would be inappropriate to apply that term to the DNA on the knife sheath because 2 AFFIDAVIT OF RYLENE NOWLIN a trace amount of DNA is not what was detected on Item 1.1, and referring to it as trace DNA would be misleading to the trier of fact. I certify (or declare) under penalty of perjury pursuant to the law the State of Idaho that the foregoing is true and correct.

They never found the sharpener. What would be the point of getting rid of that?
Maybe he didn’t throw away the knife and sharpener, but secured them someplace for future use, expecting that he’d never be arrested relating to these murders, so would be free to commit others later.

I’ve speculated there may be a storage unit somewhere (likely south of Pullman in the areas he drove through after the murders and where he returned later that afternoon - he may even have temporarily stowed the knife somewhere - tucked under an overpass or something in the hour or so immediately after the murders and then returned later to retrieve the knife before driving on to a storage unit in Clarkston or Lewiston). LE searched and determined he hadn’t been using the small storage unit provided at his student apartment.

Agreed, it fools no one (along with his 'bushy eyebrows'), but we/ve also seen many defendants gain weight for the very same reasons.

This noticeable change in BK's physical appearance has happened in the past 5-6 months. A strategy that will fall as flat as his Defense.

Flatter than a steam roller over a pancake.

I was impressed with AT as a Defense Attorney and still think she is smart, intelligent, and more than capable of affording BK competent representation. She was given a heaping pile of dog pooh to work with on a highly publicized DP case, so I've given her a pass on things.

What I have come to not appreciate is her latest 'word salad' whining and unfounded accusations against the State, which turn out to be false or 'not quite true'. Bad form and a big disappointment from her.

I would love to know what she REALLY thinks of BK, not as a client, but just as a person accused of the quadruple murder of such great young people. I still wonder what BK's participation is, if any, in his case? If or how he interacts with his attorneys?

I guess he's busy trying to act incompetent these days. He's either medicated, is practicing for trial, or both. He was much more assured and active in previous hearings. He def is shrinking physically over the past months, intentionally I believe to look as less alike of DM's description as possible, and as unimposing or threatening in general.

JMO
I agree with everything you said and have wondered those same things RBBM above.
Don’t know if we’ll ever know though, *sigh*,
oh to be a fly on the wall when AT & Co. meets with BK in jail, bet the flies have quite the interesting info/stories to tell lol.

The sample size was miniscule (alleged to be 20 skin cells or less by Blum) and completely used up in original testing. There was nothing left for the defense TO test.

Court TV talks to a DNA expert specifically about whether or not there was a lot or a little DNA on the knife sheath. Start around the 11 minute mark. She does not describe it as minuscule.

And there at the crime scene, all 20 skin cells

Anyone want to take bets on whether his bushy eyebrows are trimmed down and less noticeable by the time the trial rolls around?

@Warwick7 Thx for tracking down the GHI podcast.

GH said this email proves some things being known and offers the images of it.
Did GH identify the source of the email?
The originator, the first recipient, any one else who forwarded it to GH?

I see the Nov. 22 date and time.
When was it was fowarded (as email) or sent (hard copy) to GH? Did he say?

Was ^ covered in this podcast?
I may have missed it, as I read the youtube transcript, did not watch or listen.

Anyone? TiA.

I forgot about this -- 14m mark in the video.

The Defense wants BK's selfie out because 1. it's irrelevant and 2. it's too prejudicial.

Ha!

How is a photo showing the defendant as close to the time of tge crime in any way irrelevant? Because it's too accurate? Ha!

It's not prejudicial, it's incriminating. No wonder she's desperate to get it thrown out. Alongside everything else.

Nice to see that the judge was swayed.

Judging from the blood leaking out through the floor to drip down the cement foundation outside, I was thinking the thud could have been from the struggle XK put up. Possible being push hard into that outer wall and winding up on the floor right there. Could be why a whimper was picked up too being right by that wall. God it's just too awful to think about 💔
