I heard about this on FOX. They have a sunami watch out. They had a 5.3 on Sunday and people paniced. Bet it was crazy today with the 7.8

FWIW, Sumatra had the 3rd largest recorded quake in 2004, a 9.1.

Is it just me, or is the earth turning against us?

Hoping for the best for people all over affected by these natural disasters.

According to the article I linked, it's just a cycle. The cycle lasts 10 or 20 years. There was one in the early 1900's, and so on.

I don't think the discharge of the weapon in space is responsible, but you never know!
