Considering his age of 70 years old. I really wonder about his or his wife's mentality - question of dementia or alzheimer's disease for either of them......mostly HIM.
Alzheimer's disease doesn't necessarily have to start of with obvious memory loss it can start of obviously with all sorts of disorders - this behaviour also.
