Chief: 8-year-old 'saved those other 6 people'
Jon Hand, Staff writer 10:12 p.m. EST January 20, 2014

...It was in the back bedroom of that small, single-wide trailer at 39 Fondiller Ave. that firefighters found Tyler's body Monday morning, just a few feet away from the bed of his disabled Uncle Steve, who investigators believe Tyler was trying to save...

How sad. I can't imagine the grief.

This happened about 5 miles from where I live. :sigh:

"...Family of young fire hero Tyler Doohan, who died saving loved ones, now fighting over fundraiser money..."

Sad what money does to people. From the article, sounds like the boy's mother did not even live there ; and a friend of the mother's set up the "YouCaring.com." account.
Now they are fighting over it.
---- Not that it would be a bad thing if she really bought a decent house ; and the funds aren't wasted.
